Our Charlotte market is practically on fire right now.
Usually during winter, we don’t see a lot of active buyers, but interest rates are the lowest we’ve seen them in years. Inventory is also low—we only have a 1.8-month supply of homes. More people are buying homes than listing them, so if you’re thinking of selling, now’s the time to put your home on the market. When you think about the competition, you’re better off listing sooner rather than later.
Homes in the lower price points are selling quicker than those in the higher price points. If your area falls within the $500,000 to $1-million+ range, it might take you longer to sell. If it falls within the $150,000 to $400,000 range, though, it means homes are flying off of the shelves.
